Excursion to the International Women’s Society

As part of our Wacky Week 2020, the pupils of Master Moulders International Academy went on excursion to the International Women’s Society (IWS) Skills Acquisition Center, Lekki, on Thursday, 13th February, 2020. The children were warmly received by the management of the institution. They were shown around the facilities in the centre, which included the wellness and beauty section, the sewing section, the baking section, etc.

They were taught a lot about vocational skills such as hair making, sewing and baking, etc. Another interesting highlight of the excursion was the quiz competition between our pupils and the students of the Adult Education Section of the Institution. They competed in Mathematics, English Language and General Knowledge. MMIA was ably represented by three Grade 6 crystal pupils. To the glory of God, we won the competition! The participants/winners were rewarded with some prizes. It was indeed a fruitful and successful day to us all.
