International Day of the Girl Child, celebrated every 11th of October, is a forum for acknowledging the female child in the society. The girl child is a powerful being that possesses unique traits and characteristics that makes her not only a woman but a force to be reckoned with. The girl child plays a vital role in so many areas, hence the need to celebrate her. We are delighted to be a part of this celebration, fully aware of the unique role females play in our lives from the cradle to adulthood.
There is more to a girl child that meets the eye; she is productive, thoughtful, supportive, creative, attentive, indispensable, irreplaceable, special and so much more.
